A free map for coloring the states, counties, and countries you have visited, plus the roads, flights, trains, and cruises that got you there. Your map name is your login.
Start Coloring lets you try the map before you create one. You can color states, counties, and countries. That trial stays in this browser. It is not saved on our servers and has no link. Create My Map saves those colors onto a map you name.
Create My Map asks for a unique name and a password, entered twice. Use at least 8 characters with letters and numbers. You can turn on an authenticator. We cannot recover a password, so download a backup.
Unlock the map. Click a state to color it. Click a country to color it. Click a county twice to color it. Click a colored place again to change the color or clear it.
These are under Advanced Coloring. Roads can be added by US ZIP, a KMZ or KML file, or by drawing a line. Flights go airport to airport. Cruises go port to port. Trains go station to station. Places are pins you drop on the map. Open an item in its list to edit it.
Shapes are under Advanced Coloring. You can draw a line, polygon, square, rectangle, circle, or arrow. Choose fill, outline, or both.
Year starts on All. Pick years to filter the map and the stats. Clear turns the filter off and does not delete years. Miles driven is roads. Total miles adds roads, flights, cruises, and trains. Layers sets what draws on top. Click a stat on an unlocked map to set that stat’s color.
Dark, Light, Streets, and Satellite are under Tools. Set Map Icon frames a picture of the map for the home list. Print PDF, JPG, and PNG save the map as it looks, with the site watermark.
Unlock the map, then use Import / Export under Tools to save or restore a backup. Copy Link allows you to share a map. Report Map and Feedback are in the menu.
